Croad Langshan Chicks

We are SOLD OUT of chicks for the remainder of the 2023 season. 
Sales are open for Spring 2024 chicks. Once an order is placed through our website, that will reserve your spot in line for your Spring order. 
We will begin filling local chick orders in March. It will be safe for us to start shipping out chicks in April weather permitting. We usually have a wait list for chicks.
We are no longer offering hatching eggs on a regular basis. We will only post hatching eggs for sale IF we have extras available.

~3 chick minimum for pick up orders. You can mix and match the different breeds we carry.

~Shipping cost is a flat $75.00. 
Chicks are sent along on their journey with a nest pad in their box to keep the babies from sliding around during transit. A heat pack is included to help keep them warm. Gro Gel is provided to give our chicks immediate nutrition and hydration. 
Neon stickers are added on the boxes to remind USPS that they are delivering precious little ones to their néw destinations.

Who wants to add some of these gorgeous rare colors to their basket? 
Our Croad Langshan chicks hatch out in blue, black and occasionally splash. These Croad Langshans have been raised to the UK Standard. Our hens produce large light brown eggs that occasionally have a beautiful pink, lavender or plum bloom over them. They sometimes are covered with plum speckles over them. These eggs hold their unique color but the bloom often fades over the course of a couple days. We will mark the eggs with a heart that have a bloom. Not all eggs will have a bloom over them. We collect the most brilliant blooms in the spring/early summer months. We 
notice less blooms appearing as the season goes on. We still collect eggs with blooms over them throughout the year but not as often. 
Our Croad Langshan bloodline is directly from Judy Gaines in Ohio. They are very rare hardy birds with amazing temperments. Our roosters are gentle giants and the hens are as sweet as can be. Croad Langhans can withstand harsh cold and hot temperatures. The hens lay 140-150 eggs per year. Chicks are sold as straight run. Fertility is checked often and is excellent!
